Isotope analysis

The determination of the light stable isotopes of the chemical elements C, H, N, O, S is carried out after extensive sample preparation by means of an isotope-ratio-mass- spectrometer (IRMS).

  • Food - proof of origin (e.g. apricots, asparagus)

  • Influence of growing conditions (e.g. water stress, biological - conventional production)

  • Detection of incorrectly declared and adulterated products

  • Wine samples for the European wine database
