FOPS

FOPS is the short form of Falling-Object-Protective-Structure and describes a protective structure for driver's cabs against falling objects.

A test object falls

• Level I, 45 kg or
• Level II, 297 kg

from a certain height of fall (around 3 m) onto the cab roof.

The test is passed if nothing has penetrated the clearance zone defined by the yellow device during the test.
