Measure and calibration law

Measuring instruments has to ensure necessary accuracy to protect economy and society as well as the lawfulness of measurements. As far as possible www.ris.bka.gv.at/GeltendeFassung.wxe?Abfrage=Bundesnormen&Gesetzesnummer=10011268 (available in German only) has to be considered.

Specimen test report

According the individual inspection of a sprayer a test report has to be provided. If necessary the following specimen test reports can be used:

• Horizontal boom sprayers
• Sprayers for bush and tree crops
• Fixed and semi-mobile sprayers

Authorization of workshops

Information for bodies which want to get authorized in Lower Austria
Request for authorization has to be placed at the office of the Federal Government of Lower Austria. Information about used test equipment and inspectors has to be enclosed. 

Information for bodies which want to get authorized in Upper Austria
At first a request has to be placed at BLT Wieselburg „KONTAKT“. In case of positive decision an authorization request including the certificate by BLT Wieselburg has to be placed at the corresponding district office (please refer § 6 of Oö. Pflanzenschutzgeräteüberprüfungsverordnung)
