LWb21 and ALW23 on tour: destination IRELAND

The graduating classes LWb21 and ALW23 had the opportunity to experience a very special excursion to the Emerald Isle – Ireland.

Over the course of their journey, the students enjoyed a mix of visits to agricultural enterprises, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable cultural highlights.

The group explored the historic cities of Dublin and Galway, where centuries of history meet today’s vibrant and welcoming culture. Among the scenic highlights were an excursion through the wild beauty of Connemara, a boat trip from Galway to the island of Inishmore, and the awe-inspiring views of the Cliffs of Moher on the return journey.

Farm visits offered valuable insights into Irish agriculture. The students experienced both innovative enterprises, such as the Connemara Oyster Farm and a bog farm, as well as traditional holdings, including a sheep farm and a large dairy operation.

In summary, this final-year trip was an inspiring mix of learning, fun and shared memories that will last.
