Well done, Cambridge Candidates 2026!

Now in its third year as an official Cambridge preparation centre, our school is once again celebrating outstanding results in the Cambridge English examinations - all 16 candidates passed with flying colours!

Also in the school year 2025/2026, a great mix of motivated students from all departments chose to go beyond the regular curriculum and dedicated two extra lessons a week to prepare themselves for the Cambridge B2 First (FCE) or Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE) examination as part of the elective course “EKO - Cambridge”. Their commitment paid off when they sat the exams in late May and early June and achieved excellent results.

13 students travelled to the exam centre “Cambridge Institute Vienna” at the end of May to complete their B2 examinations. After a demanding exam day, which included computer-based reading, listening, writing and English in Use tasks in the morning, followed by speaking tests in the afternoon, we were delighted to receive the excellent results: Everyone passed the B2 examination, with eight candidates achieving a pass at Grade A and thereby demonstrating ability at Level C1 in certain language areas.

In early June, three students successfully took on the challenge of the C1 advanced examination. All of them did so successfully, one candidate even earned an outstanding grade A, showing exceptional language proficiency.

Congratulations to all of this year’s Cambridge candidates on their success! We are already looking forward to welcoming a new group of ambitious students when the next Cambridge preparation course begins at the start of the new school year.
